Contrast Media Hosts First Annual “Soundwave” Latin Music Week Showcase in Miami

Contrast Media held SOUNDWAVE, a Latin Music Week artist showcase, on the rooftop of Palace South Beach, Miami, on October 15th, 2024. The event, produced by Contrast Media founder Michael D. Monroe and co-produced by Pridelines’ Director of Special Events, Fundraising, and Communications, Nicolle Nyariri, brought together artists, media outlets, and key figures in Miami’s LGBTQIA+ and Latinx communities.

The night kicked off with a dynamic performance by La Cruz, followed by captivating sets from Nohemy, X1T, Nalo Neptuno, and SANTI. Miss Wynwood Pride 2024, FKA Twink, hosted the evening, energizing the crowd and creating a memorable experience for all in attendance.

Guests enjoyed an open bar sponsored by Patron, Bacardi, Grey Goose, Santa Teresa Rum, and Illegal Mezcal, and Patron provided an exclusive VIP section for select guests, offering a premium experience throughout the night. The event’s proceeds benefited Pridelines, Miami’s LGBTQ community center, supporting their vital services for LGBTQIA+ youth and adults.
