Julia Rizik Drops Debut Pop EP ‘Self Destructive’

The time has come and Julia Rizik has officially released her highly anticipated debut “indie-pop and alternative R&B” EP, ‘Self Destructive.’

Julia has has been known for her country music so she’s giving fans a taste of her pop sound with this EP. The 5 track project starts with slow tempo pop track ‘Human,’ which about being so into someone that it mskes you questions if he’s even human. The next track leads into her single ‘Self Destructive,’ then ‘DUMB,’ ‘This Is Love’ and ‘DOWN.’

‘Self Destructive’ has a theme of reflection and hardship. This shift in sound was brought on by her hunger to explore her creative freedom. Thanks to quarantine, Julia was forced to sit down and write about confusion, back-and-forth breakups and the toxicity of the relationship.
