The Lifeline Project

The Lifeline Project (TLP) is a global non-profit started by the team at Contrast Magazine. Its mission is to create real, direct change for communities in crisis by organizing impactful events and fundraisers. Whether it’s providing humanitarian aid or supporting environmental efforts, TLP is focused on delivering immediate help while raising awareness through creative campaigns. At the core of TLP are three key values: Unity, Global Impact, and Collaboration, which guide every action and partnership.
.
The project was founded by Michael Monroe, who brings an extensive background in nonprofits, including work with United Colors of Fashion (UCOF), the Carol Maraj Foundation, and Out My Closet. Michael is currently the Marketing Coordinator at Miami’s first and only LGBTQIA+ community center, Pridelines. His dedication to creating lasting social impact through creative initiatives has shaped The Lifeline Project’s mission and vision.
.
TLP believes collaboration is the key to making a real difference. By working closely with local organizations, TLP ensures that resources and funds go directly to those in need. With Contrast Magazine’s platform, TLP amplifies the voices of those affected by global crises. Whether it’s providing aid to vulnerable communities or addressing urgent environmental issues, TLP remains committed to educating, inspiring, and mobilizing action worldwide.
.
With its official launch in October, The Lifeline Project is set to kick off its first major event, “Lifeline for Gaza: Feeding the Future.” This pop-up event in Miami will raise money to support children in Gaza facing hunger. As TLP grows, it will stay focused on creating meaningful action that aligns with its core values, leading to lasting solutions for the communities it serves.
