Angela Simmons Hosts Annual Toy Drive & Holiday Gala in New York City at Hotel 50 Bowery

Angela Simmons celebrated the holiday season with her celebrity friends by hosting her own “Purposeful Toy Drive & Holiday Gala” on December 14th. The event took place in the Big Apple at The Crown in Hotel 50 Bowery. The philanthropist and entrepreneur created a memorable night with tunes by DJ Skillz and by racking up more than 600 toy donations for children who need them most.

Simmons wanted to offer a space for party-goers to donate toys no matter their current budget. With a minimum gift value requirement of just one dollar, guests had a wide range of possibilities. Guests donated toys ranging from Barbie dolls, gift cards, sneakers, clothing, toy cars, soccer balls and more. Notable guests in attendance were Claire Sulmers from Fashion Bomb Daily and Hot 97’s DJ Dewski.

2022 proved to be a busy year for the Growing Up Hip Hop star. This year she made her acting debut on VH1’s Family Christmas Wedding, starring Keri Hilson, Ne-Yo, Terrence J, Redman and more, including producer Jamie Foxx. Angela will return on WETV’s Growing Up Hip Hop this upcoming January 2023.
