Anuel AA Drops New Single ‘Mejor Que Yo,” Sparks Mania Amongst KAROL G Fans

Puerto Rican rapper Anuel AA has once again demonstrated his musical prowess with his latest single “Mejor Que Yo.” The track, which features production duo DJ Luian and Mambo Kingz, is a blend of reggaeton and trap beats. The song’s lyrics revolve around a man coming to terms with the fact that his ex-partner, in his case: KAROL G.

In the single, Anuel sings in Spanish, “You already have a boyfriend / I miss you / He doesn’t understand you like I do / He will never make love to you like me.” The rapper took to Instagram to announce the new single in a post that has garnered more than five million likes; and in doing so, tagged KAROL G in his caption: “#MejorQueYo 👹 Te la dedico bebe 😘😘😘😘😘 @karolg.” The post has sparked mania amongst fans and the media.

“Mejor Que Yo” has already garnered attention, with its inclusion on Spotify’s New Music Fridays playlist alongside some of the biggest names in the music industry, such as Ed Sheeran, Fireboy DML, Lil Wayne, and more.
