Latin Artist JMADO Levels Up with New Music Project

McAllen, Texas is home to something big and star studded, and it comes in the form of rapper, J Mado. The up-and-coming star has made his way from small town life to a red-carpet experience. Hits such as “Despegó” have taken over the airwaves and are on repeat at the hottest summer parties. Many say his sound is reminiscent of stars such as Rauw Alejandro and Bad Bunny. However, one cannot deny the uniqueness, swag, and overall presence of J Mado.

J Mado was one who kept to himself growing up in McAllen. Knowing he had to get out of his bubble, he began to seek refuge in music. Thanks to Vocal Line Music and X-Lati, he began to develop a sound that would be distinguishable to him. He credits much of the customization of his music to a group of men he met while networking in New York. J Mado felt the importance of his passion and knew that in order to succeed, he would have to be on an everlasting grind.

“Despegó” came to J Mado after he heard the addictive beats flowing through him. The lyrics came next and naturally after he gained the inspiration to release the captivating single. The fiery song came with a video that depicted the boss’s wife falling for the charm of the elusive J Mado. Jhay Cortez is on J Mado’s mind when he thinks of collaborations he is eyeing for the future. Though he is new to the game, he is insistent that constant evolution of his music will always be the main identifier for him.

J Mado knows he is an inspiration to other new rappers as he has established himself as a professional and is surrounded by a devoted team. He recommends that they remain humble and discover what makes them unique. It is through this self-awareness that they, too, will achieve their goals. Painting and building custom homes are what keep him down to earth. In his spare time, his friends and family enjoy his company as well. Be sure to download “Despegó” on all streaming platforms and follow the rising star via Instagram.
