Oprah Praises Taylor Swift: “I’ve never seen any woman handle herself the way she does”

Oprah Winfrey has opened up about her admiration towards pop phenomenon Taylor Swift. In an exclusive interview with Australia’s Herald Sun, the former daytime talk show host commended Swift for “the way she handles herself” in the industry, stating “I’ve never seen any woman handle herself the way she does.” Winfrey continued to comment on the singer-songwriter’s journey through the entertainment industry, “She manages the whole fame trip, what it means to be in the spotlight.” Later, she elaborated on her statement, placing Swift on a well-deserved pedestal: “So when you think about all the things going wrong the world, she is the true great role model.”

According to The Daily Telegraph, Oprah is reportedly invited to Swift’s upcoming 26th birthday festivities. Other celebrities expected to be in attendance are Kylie Minogue, Selena Gomez, Calvin Harris, Karlie Kloss, Lorde, Hugh Jackman, Gigi Hadid, Ed Sheeran, Lily Aldridge, and more. The festivities will supposedly take place on Hamilton Island, a premier Australian holiday destination. The seven-time Grammy Award winner is said to have chosen the location “as the backdrop for her big bash because of its privacy and seclusion from paparazzi.” Taylor Swift will turn 26 on December 13th, the day after her 1989 World Tour officially wraps up.

This is the second time that Swift has chosen to celebrate her birthday in Australia. For her 24th birthday, the singer-songwriter flew with some of her squad to Melbourne. Last year, A-Listers Beyoncé, Jay Z, Justin Timberlake all made appearances at Swift’s 25th birthday party.
