Rihanna To Launch Cannabis Line “MaRihanna”

As Rihanna prepares to release her much anticipated eight studio album Anti, the Barbados-born singer may also be releasing her own line of marijuana.

First reported by 18KaratReggae.com, Rihanna allegedly announced business venture at the 2015 HIGH TIMES Cannabis Cup, the world’s leading marijuana trade show. The line, which will be titled MaRihanna by Rihanna will be “the first mainstream cannabis brand in the world” according to the singer. The strains are titled Karibbean Kush, Haitian Haze, and Jamaican High Grade.

Following the path of other celebrities such as Snoop Dogg and Willie Nelson, Rihanna is “proud to be a pioneer” in the industry. Although there has been no official confirmation from Rihanna’s team, the Barbados-born singer would certainly blaze a trail if these reports turn out to be true. The line will reportedly be sold in the only four states to legalize marijuana: Colorado, Washington, Oregon and Alaska.
