“Chat Sh!t” Returns for Season 2 as Official After-Show Podcast of Max Original Series Rap Sh!t
Audio company Raedio is set to kick off the second season of Chat Sh!t, the official after-show podcast for Max Original’s Rap Sh!t, featuring hosts Jessie Woo and Zach Campbell. The podcast will drop its first two episodes on Thursday, November 9th at 6 AM EST, coinciding with the Season Two series premiere on Max.
Subsequent episodes will be released each Thursday following the series episode, available on various digital streaming platforms and Raedio’s YouTube channel. This time around, Chat Sh!t will introduce a visual component for fans to witness Jessie and Zach’s lively commentary.
Raedio’s Senior Director of Podcast Department, Dzifa Yador, highlighted the podcast’s role in offering a comprehensive experience for fans, including behind-the-scenes insights and curated music that enriches the show’s atmosphere. Rap Sh!t, a series produced by Issa Rae, follows the journey of two estranged high school friends, Shawna and Mia, as they form a rap group in Miami. The first season concluded with their reconciliation and plans to tour as a duo, right before Shawna’s run-in with the law. In the upcoming season, listeners of Chat Sh!t can anticipate more drama as the girls make personal and professional sacrifices to embark on a statewide tour.
Co-host Jessie Woo is also known for her work on FOX’s Dish Nation, as well as appearances on Wild N Out and ALL BLK’s “A La Carte” series. On the other hand, co-host Zach Campbell, a popular pop culture and music commentator, has an extensive background working with platforms such as Netflix and MTV Awards. Notably, Chat Sh!t recently clinched the 2023 Black Podcasting Award for Best TV & Film Podcast.
If you’re a fan of Rap Sh!t, Chat Sh!t promises to provide an even more immersive experience in its second season, with the lively commentary of its dynamic hosts, along with a visual component to enhance your viewing pleasure.
