Post Malone Announces Fifth Album “Austin,” Along New “Bad Ass” Music Video
Post Malone has had a very rewarding career. This year, the Syracuse native was recognized as the artist with the most diamond-certified singles by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). He doesn’t plan to stop now. While on tour in Europe, Post Malone took time to share back-to-back good news announcing a new single, new video, new album, and a new tour. The album will mark as his fifth studio album and will be humbly titled “Austin.” and will release end of summer on July 28th.
“It’s been some of the most fun music. Some of the most challenging and rewarding music. For me at least. [I’ve been] trying to really push myself and do some cool stuff,” says the Hollywood’s Bleeding artist. “I play guitar on every song on the record. It was a really, really fun experience and I’m super, super excited to share it with you.”
Post also took the opportunity to announce his new single “Mourning,” which will be released this Friday, May 19th, following the release of his recent single “Chemical.” He also confirmed that “Mourning” will be paired with a music video that features “a big ass ice cube” in the visuals, which he thinks is “pretty badass.” Seems chill.
The new music will be paired with an exciting new North American tour in 2023, performing music from his highly anticipated fifth album. The tour dates promises a series of electric “new production, new songs and a very handsome man up on stage.” The tour will kick off on July 8th in Noblesville, IN and will wrap up in August in San Bernadino, CA.
