Omar Apollo and Buchanan’s Pineapple Kick Off Miami Summer 2023 with Exclusive Party
This weekend, Miami sizzled as Buchanan’s Pineapple and Grammy-nominated artist Omar Apollo ignited the summer season with a kick-off party that was as hot as a South Beach summer day. The event, a tropical oasis nestled in the heart of the city, was the ultimate melding of music, flavor, and fashion that buzzed with the vibrant pulse of summertime.
As the sun set over the waterfront, Apollo serenaded guests with his biggest bangers, sparking a dance party as fiery as a salsa dance-off. DJ Palina La Diva followed suit, spinning tracks deep into the night and keeping the dance floor moving like an endless conga line. Our Marketing Director Matthew Felix was also there, ensuring every vibrant moment was captured.
But a party isn’t a party without tantalizing food and drinks, right? Buchanan’s curated a Latin American culinary journey, spearheaded by Colombian chef Catherine Villin. Savory ceviche, mouthwatering al pastor tacos, bite-sized empanadas — a veritable feast of flavors. Paired with vibrant piña cocktails like the icy Bucha Colada and the smooth El Ocaso, it was a gastronomic extravaganza.
Fashion, too, was on the agenda. Buchanan’s and LA-based Kids of Immigrants previewed their latest “Casa Piña” summer capsule collection. Trust us, it’s the epitome of summer chic!
Among the glittering guest list were names such as Venezuelan-born songstress Manu Manzo, Cuban-American artist Emily Estefan, her partner Gemeny Hernandez, Dominican model Marbie Doll, and influencers Brenda Orelus, Ana Ireisa, Gabrielle Annalisa, and more.
