DANNYLUX HONORS HIS IMMIGRANT ROOTS WITH POWERFUL BILLBOARD IN LOS ANGELES
DannyLux is using his platform to send a message that hits home for millions of kids of immigrants. Following his second consecutive Latin GRAMMY® nomination for Best Contemporary Mexican Music Album for Leyenda, the Mexican-American artist unveiled a striking billboard in Los Angeles, a throwback family photo paired with the words: “My parents left everything so we can have everything. Today, they’re Latin GRAMMY nominated too.”
It’s more than a billboard, it’s a love letter to his parents and a statement on what it means to build the American dream from the ground up.
Standing beneath the billboard on Sunset Blvd with his family, DannyLux shared, “My biggest message is for us to keep persevering the way our parents did.” The moment captured everything Leyenda represents.
Released in May via VPS Music / Warner Music Latina, the project cemented DannyLux’s evolution from a bedroom artist into one of the most important voices redefining the regional Mexican movement. With tracks like “Sirena,” “Ya No Estás,” and “Cielo Eterno” featuring Jasiel Nuñez, DannyLux continues to blend emotion and experimentation, solidifying a legacy that, just like that billboard, shines for the ones who came before him.
