GORDO Turns Up the Heat at Miami Music Week With Explosive Sets and a Surprise From Kettama

Miami was already buzzing during Music Week, then GORDO showed up. The Grammy-nominated DJ and producer, fresh from a six-hour all-night-long set in Madrid, arrived in South Florida with three high-voltage performances that showed off the range of his evolving sound and curatorial edge.
.
On Thursday, GORDO ignited Palm Tree Club and E11EVEN with late-night sets that kept crowds moving deep into the morning. But Friday was the main event: his signature TARAKA showcase, featuring a stacked lineup including DJ Tennis, Hot Since 82, HoneyLuv, Maz (BR), and more. Then came the surprise — Irish DJ Kettama joined GORDO onstage for an unannounced B2B set, sparking what many fans called the wildest set of the week.
.
It’s all part of a strong run for the Nicaraguan-born artist. His EP No Hay Verano Sin GORDO has surpassed 44 million streams, while “Olvidarte”, his collab with Emilia, remains at #1 in Argentina. GORDO was recently named the #1 Hispanic DJ by DJ Mag and topped Billboard’s Hot 100 Producers — major recognition in a space he’s helping reshape.
