Vikina and Esther Anaya Drop “Estuario,” a Song About Change and Sisterhood
Vikina wrote “Estuario” before she even knew she was pregnant. Now the song feels like it was made for this moment in her life, capturing the shift from the woman she was to the woman she is becoming. She teamed up with Colombian DJ and violinist Esther Anaya, and together they made something that is equal parts electronic, Afrohouse, and really personal.
The idea comes from an estuary, where rivers meet the sea, as a metaphor for change.
Anaya adds her violin and production to the track, giving it a texture that makes it feel alive. She’s worked with Snoop Dogg and Thomas Gold and spins for the LA Chargers, but here she’s more than a collaborator, she’s part of the story. The track has a subtle emotional weight that lifts it above a typical dance song.
The music video shows Vikina surrounded by women who shaped her life, forming a circle of support. Anaya is in the video too. Vikina calls it a maternity music video, and it works. There is vulnerability, joy, and power all at once. It’s not flashy, it’s real, and it captures the energy of women holding each other up.
Vikina has been building her lane for years, from reality TV finalist to streaming hits with Pitbull’s Mr.305 Records. “Estuario” is just the next step. It’s not just a song, it’s a moment in her life, and she’s inviting us to witness it.
