Lights! Camera! Action! It’s always showtime when J Young MDK is in front of the camera. He has built a career for himself being the lively rapper that commands the stage. His audience can’t help but be taken by his enigmatic stage presence paired with his musical talent.

In this day and age though, he has taken on more than music and has made entry into the world of acting. He has embraced the addition of a talent he knew existed and leaned his abilities into the recent film, “Mixed Girl”. The multi-talented star has come into his own and has our attention while doing so.

J Young MDK has had a dream of creating this fabulous life for himself since he was a child. He spent copious hours, days, and weeks catering to his followers and providing them with premium music content. He dropped his albums “Aqua”, “White”, and “Black” all in the same year, making history by releasing two of them the same day.

He has been seen on stage with Latto, Saucy Santana, Kali, and Asianae during the nationwide “Monster Outbreak Presents: Latto 777 Tour”. His mentor is the iconic Jamie Foxx and he can be seen regularly enjoying time with the star on his Instagram.

This movie position isn’t the first spin around the block for J Young MDK. He has been in films such as “The App That Stole Christmas” and “Feds Did A Sweep”. He was recently nominated for his role in the gritty drama “Mixed Girl” as “Outstanding  Dramatic Actor”. Though he didn’t win the nod, he is over the moon at the recognition of a role he felt such passion for. MDK portrayed a man who learned he was a father later in life. Without hesitation, he steps up and takes care of his daughter. He makes note that he is grateful to God and everyone who has supported him along the way.
