Monsieur Periné Ushers in a New Era with Aguaráchate

Colombian band Monsieur Periné is stepping into a new era with their latest single, “Aguaráchate.” The track is a joyful, danceable fusion of guaracha, folk, and pop that immediately pulls you in. Lead vocalist Catalina García coined the word herself, a playful call to reconnect with laughter, dance, and the simple pleasures of life.

The single was born during an international creative session in Miami with producers Quinvee (Ecuador), Ana Mancebo (Spain), and Fux Beat (Puerto Rico), alongside Santiago Prieto and the band. Live instruments collide with tropical electronic production, blending accordion, violin, tuba, swing, and pop into a sound that feels both rooted in Colombian tradition and boldly modern.

The music video, filmed in Cali, Colombia at Casa Viche, brings the song’s energy to life. Scenes of everyday life collide with playful absurdity, full of color, humor, and fantasy. Iconic guaracha dance steps like “el avión” and “el cuchillo” are reimagined, reflecting the band’s cultural roots while keeping the vibe fresh and fun.

With “Aguaráchate,” Monsieur Periné invites fans to dance, laugh, and embrace spontaneity. This isn’t just a single, it’s the first glimpse of a creative era that promises to be as playful, daring, and unforgettable as the band itself.
