NYC Pride’s Pride Island Announces Christina Aguilera As The 2023 Headliner

Latina icon Christina Aguilera has been announced as the headliner of NYC Pride’s Pride Island. This LGBTQIA+ dance party and fundraiser will take place at the Brooklyn Army Terminal, and tickets are currently available for purchase.

Aguilera is a seven-time Grammy Award-winning artist known for her powerful voice and hit songs. She has sold over 75 million records worldwide and achieved five No. 1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making her the third female artist to top the chart over three consecutive decades. In 2021, she received the inaugural Music Icon Award at the People’s Choice Awards, followed by the Spirit of Hope Award at the 2022 Billboard Latin Music Awards and the Advocate for Change Award at the 2023 GLAAD Media Awards.

The Pride Island event is not the only ticketed event available during NYC Pride’s celebration. TEAZE, a queer party experience, and Bliss Days, an annual celebration of LGBTQIA+ womxn, are also available for purchase. The Brunch, an indulgent culinary experience curated by Black LGBTQIA+ chefs, and the NYC Pride March Grandstand Experience are also on the list.

NYC Pride will also host free events, with registration opening soon. The event is an opportunity to celebrate diversity and inclusion, and the headliner announcement of Christina Aguilera is sure to draw a significant crowd.
