Malaysian R&B Singer Yuna Collaborates with K-pop Singer Shaun on a New Single Project
Two different cultures melt into one when South Korean K-pop Singer & DJ Shaun and Malaysian R&B singer Yuna come together for their recent masterpiece. The unlikely pair are gearing up to release a track that will explode on the scene as one to remember. Yuna is addressing the lyrics, matching her smooth R&B vibe that has been compared to Sade and the late Aaliyah. DJ Shaun will be producing the single under the Unbound Entertainment Group.
Both DJ Shaun and Yuna have their own individual claims to fame in the music world. In 2010, DJ Shaun made his stamp on the scene as he tickled the ivories and sang backup in indie rock group, ‘The Knoxx’. He worked his way up from singing behind the lead singer to producing trendy hits of his own. He has worked with groups such as BoA, Yunha, EXO, and many more. His EP ‘Take’ was released in 2018, making the way for his hit single from the album ‘Way Back Home’ a chart topper, passing fan heavy BTS and showstoppers, BLACKPINK.
Yuna’s claim to fame came when she collaborated with American performer, Usher, on a song called ‘Crush’. The ballad has amassed over 82 million streams and hit number 3 on the US Billboard Adult R&B Chart. She was even nominated for a BET Award due to the initial takeoff. Yuna has created five unique albums over her short career including ‘Chapters’ which emerged in the top 10 of the Billboard Best R&B Albums of 2016. To date, she has collected over 1 million followers on both Instagram and Spotify. Follow @yuna on social media for latest news.
